The Maritime Festival has raised the profile and awareness of our maritime heritage and history more than any other idea. It may be large or small but is intense and includes vessels, crews, music, exhibitions, food, drink and entertainment.
Festival can and does bring new and sustained life to towns and ports that have become disconnected from their relationship with the sea. Its effects are permanent and feed through to tourism and commerce in equal measure.
At its heart remain the crews and vessels who inject passion, magic and authenticity that simply cannot be faked - it is that essential core that brings such huge success to events.
TideChaser has conceived, planned or executed many of the premier events in the maritime festival world in France and Britain since 1987...
